These features qualify our blades for the new UIAA avalanche shovel standard, which allows customers to immediately identify which avalanche shovels meet the practical requirements. Safety first!

Robust as never before

Anodised aluminium and a tilt-resistant, sharpened blade make the Alugator Light a robust avalanche shovel. While the fixing holes simplify and accelerate the construction of snow anchors and rescue sleds, the handy telescopic handle has an oval profile. This makes the Alugator even more robust than before.

Lightweight

Lighter than a small Coke and so small that it fits in any daypack: The name says it all for the Alugator Light. It is our lightest avalanche shovel.
