When attaching the skin it is extremely important that the base is fully prepared, i.e. scraped and brushed, so the skin can adhere well. Additionally, the skin should be as dry as possible. Thread the narrow ratchet strap on the front part of the skin through the ski and click it into place on the upper side of the ski. Next, press the skin gently against the base starting at the tip and moving to the tail of the ski.

Removing it is just as easy and simply in exactly the reverse order: first, lift up the end of the skin from the base and then pull it away from the tail to the tip. Then, undo the ratchet strap and pull it out through the ski. Finally, all you have to do is pack the skins away in a safe place and enjoy the downhill ride to the full. .
